Cyberbullying

I learned some knew things after watching Garfields video on cyber bullying.
What I learned in Garfield’s video about cyber bullying:
- The first thing I learned in Garfield’s video about cyber bullying was that one shouldn’t open emails from people they don’t know, and to ignore the emails instead.
- I learned that cyber bullies can not only bully but also impersonate people
- I learned that even if the bully spreads around something that is the truth or partially the truth it’s still considered bad if the victim doesn’t what it being spread around.
- I learned that excluding someone from a online club or group is also considered cyber bullying
- I learned that cyber bullies can threaten to hurt someone close to the victim. A similar idea of threatening is when the cyber bully threatens the victim by telling him/her that they will tell the victims parents about something the victim did wrong.
Many of the things that were in the video, I already knew:
- I already knew that the first thing to do if your cyber bullied is to tell a trusted adult.
- I knew that most people who bully others are insecure, have been bullied before, or are just jealous of others.
- I already knew a cyber bully harasses others through the internet and sometimes cell phones.
